I love old photographs.  As a child I could spend hours just looking through photo albums of my parents as kids.  One afternoon I even sat with my grandfather while he pointed at antique black and white photos of my extended family and told me stories of their lives.  Ever since the images of life from nearly a century ago or more have captured my imagination.

One day I found some charming old pictures at an antique store.  I bought them and left them in their little sack, waiting for inspiration.  Finally it came.  Set against the Victorian-esque backdrop of a scrapbooked page, framed, and hung on a wall, the pictures took on meaning and usefulness.  They still hang in my room as inspirational reminders of the diligent character and meticulous taste of people from the past.

So I share with you these photos, hoping they will make your home beautiful and full of memory.

Sisters doing Dishes       Item #2                   $9.00
